It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Long Brooks (Knoxville, Iowa), born in Marion, Iowa, who passed away on August 3, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Ray Brooks and Clarice Brooks (Long); and his siblings, Frances Jordan, James Brooks, Benny Brooks, Helen Stevenson and Bob Brooks.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Brooks.

Memorials may be made to the Knoxville First United Methodist Church or in care of the family to be designated at a later date.
