She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Rankin and Faye Rankin; her siblings, Helen Rozendaal and Albert Rankin; her siblings-in-law, Bob Rozendaal and Eneatha Rankin; and her great grandchild Ace Fuller.
She is survived by: her son Phil; her husband Richard Mathes; her children, Sam Mathes (Debbie), Becky Lorimer (Tom), Philip Mathes (Suzanne), James Mathes (Kathy) and Rachel Arendt (Brad); her brothers, Ernest Rankin, Garold Rankin (Joyce) and George Rankin (Martha); and her sister-in-law Judy Rankin. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Mae's family.
