It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyle Harry James of Knoxville, Iowa, born in Marion, Iowa, who passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter James and Effie James; his wife Wanda De Moss (Church); his daughter Bonnie; and his siblings, Ralph James, Arden James, Cleva Barnes, Vinice Gobben, Ida Lewis and Rose Sytsma.
He is survived by: his children, Pat Miller (Dave), Rick James (Cheryl) and Kevin James (Laurie); and his siblings, Bertha Weber and Lloyd James.
Memorials in Lyle's name may be made to the Knoxville Church of the Nazarene.
