She was predeceased by: her husband Jim. She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Akins Sevde (Craig); her granddaughter Megan Roettger (D. J.) of Clive; her daughters, Jennifer Sevde (Trevor Sinnard) of Denver, Katie Northway (Andy) of Altoona, Lindsay Hegel (Tommy) of Adel and Adeline Akins Redman of Altoona; her granddaughter Nicole Lepley of Newton; her daughters, Betty Bailey (Don) of Knoxville and Loisanne Bryant (Tim) of Arizona; her grandson Brandon Bryant of Arizona; and her great grandchildren, Katelin, Jonathan, Carter, Austin, Karsyn Northway, Reese Roettger, Shepard and Hank Hegel. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Marion County Historical Society.
