He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Kloster and Verna Kloster (Raschke); his spouse Kathaleen Denny; and his brother Rev. Alexander Kloster. He is survived by: his grandchild His; his sons, Karl E. Kloster (Robin) of Attica, Tom Kloster of Des Moines and Darrell (Danielle) of Columbia; his grandchildren, Kaden, Norah, Austen and Callan; his daughter-in-law Jessica Minatra; his stepgranddaughter Isabella Minatra; and his siblings, Alverna Duhovis (Gerald) and Lynn Kloster (Bridget).

Memorials may be made to the Apostolic Church.
