He was predeceased by: his parents, John Popson and Irene Popson (Biros); his son John Andrew "Andy" Popson; his siblings, Helen McDowell, William "Bill" Popson and Shirley Kamerick; and his brother-in-law Matt Cernic.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Plum; his daughters, Audrey Popson-Debije (Michael), Suzanne Willis-Popson, Mary Klein (Michael) and Tina Popson (Corey McIntosh); his grandchildren, Breanna DeMoully (Zachary), Gavin Klein, Sam Popson and Oskar Debije; and his siblings, Kathryn "Kay" Cernic, Bob Popson, Jeanne Popson (Steven Miller) and Joyce Shaw (Terry).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorials be made to the family.
