He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Veer and Mabel Vander Veer (Brock); his wife Juliann; and his brothers, Kenneth and Carl.

He is survived by: his children, Joe, Debbie McKee, Cindy Glick and Jeff; and his brother Bobby. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Christian Opportunity Center of Pella.
