She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley and Effie Sherwood (Haines); her husband Tommy Kirkwood; her son Larry Kirkwood; and her siblings, J. Wesley Sherwood, Kermit Sherwood, Robert Sherwood, Billee Sherwood, Martha Shivers, Mary Mae Jordan and Nora Lee Ingle. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
