It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn M. Pearson (Knoxville, Iowa), born in Macksburg, Iowa, who passed away on April 14, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Young and Dorothy Young (Kirland); her grandson Ryan; and her siblings, George Young and Cleo Welling.

She is survived by: her husband Elmer "Jipe" Pearson; her children, Lori Pearson of Knoxville, Danny Pearson (Carol) of Knoxville and Robin Pearson (Gil Hernandez) of Phoenix, Arizona.; her grandson Eric Pearson (Daphne); her great grandchildren, Aliana and Eli; and her sisters, Darlene Eivins of Colorado, Beverly Basham of Tennessee and Bette Thompson of Missouri.

Memorials may be given to Montgomery Street Preschool or Suncrest Hospice.
