She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmar Newman and Gertrude Newman (Coffman); her granddaughter Lynn (Alvin); and her sister Margery. She is survived by: her sons, Gary A. Riggs (Barbara) of Akeley and Wayne A. Riggs (Barbara) of Indianola, Iowa.; and her grandchildren, Dan Riggs (Tina) of Akeley, Laura Mooney (Dennis) of Marretta, Steve Riggs (Dawn) of Foley, Sandi Brand (Richard) of Indianola and Bob Riggs (Chris) of Indianola. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Activity Department at Westview Care Center, where she received the best loving care for 7 years.
