He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren H. Cummings and Mary Sims Cummings; his wife Norma Jeanne Cummings; and his siblings, George Cummings, Dorothy Vanden Berg (Don) and Jim Cummings (Ada Mae).
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Pitt (Bob) of Bondurant and Cinda Synhorst (Don) of Knoxville; his grandchildren, Shawna Johansen (Michael), Ryan Pitt (Courtney), Megan Mangum (Mark), Codi Prachar (Mark) and Tanner Synhorst (Courtney); and his great grandchildren, Liam Johansen, Brock, Kaston, Laston Pitt, Jude, Ezra Mangum, Bale, Vada Prachar, Dirk, Loren and Clay Synhorst. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, special neighbors and friends.
Memorials in Eugene's memory may be made to the Knoxville First United Methodist Church of which he was a member.
