With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Jean Murphy (Knoxville, Iowa), who passed away on July 31, 2018 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul VanderLinden and Betty VanderLinden; her brother Paul "Butch" Vander Linden Jr.; and her daughter Marilyn Murphy. She is survived by: her husband John Murphy of Knoxville; her children, Patrick Murphy (Stacey Sumpter) of Knoxville and Dianna Jordan (Daniel) of Ames; her grandsons, Craig Jordan, Nicholas Jordan and Joseph Jordan; and her sister-in-law Leslie Vander Linden.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Heifer International.
