He is survived by: his wife Joan Swensen of Kiron, IA; his daughters, Jennifer Leusink (Dan) of Orange City, IA and Jodie Carsrud (Mark) of Volga, SD; his grandchildren, Blake, Julianna Leusink, Aksel and Alden Carsrud; his stepmother JoAnn Swensen of Bellevue, NE; his siblings, Stan Swensen (Kathleen) of Kiron, IA, Les Swensen (Rita) of Bellevue, NE and Debra Williams of LaVista, NE; his brothers-in-law, Arlo Schmidt of Arthur, IA and Alan Schmidt (Kim) of Arthur, IA; and his aunt Joy Whisinnand. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
