He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harman and Margaret Harman (Case); his parents-in-law, Art and Ardith Lindgren; his siblings, Frances Hayden (Milford), Eunice Delaney (Ed) and Jim Harman (Natalie); and his brothers-in-law, Jake Dixson and Mark Lindgren.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha Lindgren of Kingsley, IA; his daughters, Susan Pedersen (Craig) of Lawton, IA, Sandy Reinking (Brent) of Kingsley, IA, Heather Nissen (Chris) of Kingsley, IA, Holly Harman of Sioux City, IA and Heidi Jacobsen (Casey) of Sioux City, IA; his grandchildren, Brad Pedersen (Tiffany), Hogan Harman, Cole Reinking, Noah Pedersen, Harrison Nissen, Allison Reinking, Kelynn Jacobsen, Jackson Nissen, Owen Jacobsen, Easton Nissen, Annabelle Jacobsen, Grayson Nissen, Hudson Nissen and Margaret Jacobsen; his great grandchildren, Jacen and Elliot Pedersen; his sister Bernice Dixson of Marcus, IA; and his sister-in-law Laura Staber of Boone, IA..
