He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sitzmann and Christina Sitzmann (Ruhland); his children, Nancy and Joshua; and his siblings, Roman, Cecil (Doris), Virgil (Rosie), Ralph (Eldie), Vincent, Alta Marie Baxter (Merle), Erma Droessler (Cy), Madonna Albino (Vic), Florence Kemp (Cletus), Edna Krogman (Franck) and Christine.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy; his children, Tom Sitzmann (Tammy), Chris Sitzmann-Paget (Kendal) of Lincoln, NE, Rae Seizys (Jeff), Judy Miller (Keith), Andy Sitzmann (Yvette) of Sioux City, IA, Tony Sitzmann, Vincent Sitzmann (Bernadette), Jeff Sitzmann (Missy), Zach Sitzmann (Anna) and Jacob Sitzmann (Katie); and his sister Fern Boever of Sarasota, FL.. He is also survived by 36 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and over 400 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Gehlen Catholic School, The Gospel Mission or Catholic Charities.
