He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Muecke and Bernice Muecke (Johnson); his brother Douglas Muecke; his parents-in-law, Albert and Elda Wiener; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Zinke, James, Carmen, Glenda, Ernest, Randall, Thomas and Michael Wiener.
He is survived by: his wife Marylyn of Hinton, IA; his children, Casey Muecke (Brandi) of Hinton, IA and Katie Merritt (Travis) of Whiting, IA; his friend Bobbi Wessling of Le Mars, IA; his grandchildren, Jonathon Vollmer, Marisa Vollmer, Caleb Merritt, Seth Merritt, Haley DeVries (Jay), Autum Wessling, Iszbella Todd (Jacob), Kyle Hubbell, Lucas Cray, Shae Muecke and Kylie Muecke; his great grandchildren, Adalynn, Louis Jay DeVries (L. J.) and Verity Vollmer; his sisters, Connie Rumbaugh (John) of Omaha, NE and Diane Zinke of Le Sueur, MN; his sisters-in-law, Sandy Muecke of Hinton, IA and Doris Wiener of Burnsville, MN; and also, Darrell Wiener (Janet) of Le Mars, IA, LaVonne of Le Mars, IA, Leland of Le Mars, IA, Arlene of Le Mars, IA, Arnold (Kelly) of Nemaha, IA, Elaine Droegmiller (James) of Cushing, IA and Pat Verrips (James) of Sheldon, IA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
