It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winifred Caroline Koester-Dockery (Keystone, Iowa), born in Woodville, Ohio, who passed away on March 15, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Althoff and Laura Althoff (Myers); her daughter Charlene Vonk; and her siblings, Albert Althoff, Eugene Althoff, Rhoda Chapo and Lois Holland.
She is survived by: her spouse Bill Dockery; her children, Connie Gengler (John) of Auburn, MI, Charlotte Ginn (Jeff) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Kermit Koester (Sherry) of Davison, MI, Cindy Oehlerich (Richard) of Keystone, IA and Cassie Bauson (Bill) of Kokomo, IN; and her son-in-law Glenn Vonk of Ijamsville, MD. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Christ Lutheran Church or the Lutheran Hour.
