He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ebby, Irene Schallau, Donald and Dorothy Heitman. He is survived by: his parents, Stephen Schallau and Joann Schallau (Heitman) of Van Horne; his wife Stephanie Miller of Keystone; his daughter Shelby Pink (Spencer) of Waukee; his sister Darcy Kearns (Gary) of Van Horne; his siblings-in-law, Jean Ohlen (Bob) of Blairstown and Larry Miller of Wapello; and his nieces and nephews, Kelsey Kearns, Jordan Kearns (Caila), Thomas, Alyssa, Sam Seboldt, Gabby, Jack Hobbs, Nataly and Taylan Miller.
A memorial fund has been established to be used for a scholarship fund for Scott's future grandchildren.
