He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Phillips and Nell Phillips (Oleckno); and his sister Lt. Colonel Suzanne Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Sharon (Miller) of Vinton; his children, Mike Phillips (Kristy) of Vinton and Mary Phillips of Vinton; and his grandsons, Robert Phillips of Kansas City, MO, Jack Phillips of Vinton and Will Phillips of Vinton.
