She was predeceased by: her father Donald Wheeler; her sister Diane; and her grandparents, Gilbert, Velma Deklotz, Lester and Leone Wheeler.
She is survived by: her mother Joyce Wheeler (Deklotz); her siblings, Twin, Joe (Meg), Mike (Susan), Sue Moore (Bud), Jean Jurgens (Jerry), Andy (Pat), Ann Junge (Dennis) and John; and her nieces and nephews, Chad, Tim, Jeremy, Scott, Christina, Jackie, Josie, Ryan, Jacob, Samantha, Heath, Ben, Taylor and Clayton.
After retirement, Jan settled down in Keystone, IA, and began working at the Community Clothes Closet of Tama where her specialty was reconditioning donated toys into new treasures.
