He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie Junge and Emma Junge (Seeck); his wife Betty Sizer; his son Marty Junge; his grandson Nathan "Nate" Junge; and his siblings, Curtis Junge (Ruth), Dorothy Petersen (Lloyd), Lois Schlotterbeck (Delmar) and Marilyn Rieder (Russell).
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Junge (Karen Stark) of Keystone and Terry Carney (Lonnie) of Atkins; his daughter-in-law Kris Junge (Jurgens) of Van Horne; his grandchildren, Kristie Swick of Urbandale, Jeff Junge (Angela Randall) of Blairstown, Noah Junge (Meghann Staebell) of Jesup, Megan Junge of Cedar Rapids and Tracey Carney (Ed Ketelsen) of Atkins; his granddaughter-in-law Tami Junge (Wilhelmi) of Atkins; his stepgrandchildren, Tina Hill, David, Jamey and Mike Carney; and his great grandchildren, Gracie, Anna, Turner Swick, Trey Mills Junge, Tyson Breedlove, Laura, Jacob, Cael Junge, Mason, Claire, Colin and Dylan Junge.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home - Keystone (92 5th Ave, Keystone, IA 52249). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (405 4th Ave, Van Horne, IA 52346). A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Keystone Cemetery (1427 71st St, Keystone, IA 52249). A reception was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Keystone Turner Hall (91 2nd Ave, Keystone, IA 52249).
