She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hayek and Mayme Hayek (Dvorak); and her husbands, Donald Walton and Larry Kalinay. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Nolan (Rick) of Van Horne and Mark Walton of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Justin Nolan (Lisa), Jessica Walters (Chris), Jake Nolan (Sadie), Roselyn Cutter (Bryan), Jennifer Cutter (Michael) and Andrew Walton; her sisters-in-law, Rosie Wheeler (Richard) and Ruth Walton; and her stepchildren, Becky, Jon and Debbie. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (405 4th Ave, Van Horne, IA 52346). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at the Rector Cemetery.
