He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Jarrard and Maxine Jarrard (Darbyshire); his sister Ellen Hamen; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Jarrard. He is survived by: his wife Melody Gardewine; his daughter Danielle Jarrard; his granddaughter Ireland Wilson of Muscatine, Iowa; and his siblings, Gaylen Jarrard (Lynda) of Washington, Iowa, Margaret Jarrard of Washington, Iowa and Joyce Craig (Ragan) of Washington, Iowa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
