It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patty Horning of Keota, Iowa, born in Washington, Iowa, who passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her granddaughter Leighton Horning; her sister Sharon Hagist; and her father-in-law Charles Horning. She is survived by : her parents, Donald Sieren and Edna Sieren (Pacha) of Keota; her husband Charles Rex Horning of Keota; her children, Jillian Redlinger (Dan) of Keota, Jaris Horning (Chelsi) of Keota and Dillon Horning (Tessa) of Fairfield; her grandchildren, Jaylah, Dacin, Daxton, Darin Redlinger, Rowen, Greyden, Cole Horning and Bentley Horning; her siblings, Joe Sieren (Penny) of Keota, Kenny Sieren (Kathy) of Keota, Donna Baker (Tom) of Richland, Barb Bombei (Randy) of Richland, Marge Lindquist (Jeff) of Greentop and Lynn Winn (Chris) of Ollie; and her mother-in-law Joan Horning of Keota.
A memorial fund has been established for the Clear Creek Heritage Association or general fund.
