It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Johnson of Keota, Iowa, born in Ames, Iowa, who passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his father David Cottrill of Ames; his stepfather Dan Huber of Washington; his sisters, Angela Wood (Brian) of Ainsworth, Kim Crawford (Pat) of Keota, Kristen Klein (Ben) of Tiffin, Chelsea Taylor of Ames and Kathryn McCoy of Ames; his fiancé Missy Yoder of Keota; and his partner's children, Dulaney and Savannah. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and one niece.
A general memorial fund has been established.
