He is survived by: his children, Gary Vogel (Emmilee) of Iowa City, Dan Vogel of Keota, Elaine Finley (Dean) of Winthrop, Susan Byerly (Alan) of Washington, Patrick Vogel (Robyn) of Keota and Mary Vogel of Keota; his grandson Chris Vogel; his great grandchildren, Zeno and Zander; his siblings, Dale Vogel of Northridge, Jerry Vogel of Tallahassee, Florida and Carol Vogel of Cary; and his close friend Laura Vogel of Kalona.
