He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Greiner and Adella Greiner (Adam); his wife Barbara Irving; and his siblings, Arnold Greiner, Elmer Greiner and Mary Catherine Greiner.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Greiner of Keota, Joseph Greiner (Brenda Walker) of Wellman, Cindy Culich (Brian) of Des Moines, Brian Greiner (Shannon) of Keota, Michelle Swearingen (Todd) of Hedrick and Melissa Greiner (Robin Maras) of Riverside; and his siblings, Francis B. Greiner (Evelyn) of Keota, Ernest Greiner of Ollie, Anthony Greiner (Cathy) of Keota, Caroline Crawford of Knoxville, Tennesee, Donna Marshek (Robert) of Iowa City, Bernadine Huff (Dick) of Tiffin, Martha Mousel (Don) of Clear Lake, Irene Gipple (Red) of Crawfordsville, Kathleen Greiner (Kevin) of Keota and Theresa Greiner of Washington. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for the Keota QRS, Essence of Life Hospice or Keokuk County Expo.
