He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Wallerich and Irene Wallerich (Dumont); his siblings, Rosemary Peiffer, Jeanine Hall, Rita Harnish, Linda Foret, Russell Wallerich, Charles Wallerich and Ted Wallerich; and his son-in-law David Mabee.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Gingerich of Keota; his children, Jeffrey Wallerich (Debra) of Iowa City, Kim Wallerich of Keota, Melanie Mabee of Marion, Kevin Wallerich of Keota and Michelle McDonald (Heath) of Keota; and his siblings, Susie Shaeffer of Des Moines, Barbara Soutter of Mitchelville, Melvin Wallerich of Burlington and Ronnie Wallerich of Fairfax. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Powell Funeral Home (203 S Green St, Keota, IA 52248).
A memorial fund has been established for Good Samaritan Society Hospice.
