He is survived by: his wife Melissia Laffoon of Keota; his children, James Greiner of Keota, Ginny Plucar (Jeff) of Belle Plaine, Jeremiah Greiner (Anna) of Mt. Pleasant and Josh Greiner (Sarah) of Keota; his grandchildren, Loren, Landyn, Aidan, Evan, Jackson, Chloe, Wyatt and Cooper; his siblings, Janice Doud (Ray) of Schaumburg, Linda Powers (Terry) of Ottumwa, Joyce Dayton (Chuck) of Marion, Marlene Greiner of St. Louis, Missouri, Eugene Greiner (Karen) of Keota, Leon Greiner (Toni) of Keota and Marion Greiner (Lisa) of Indian Trail; and his brother-in-law Don Rowland of Albia.
