He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Norenberg and Grace Norenberg (Biewen); his wife Yvonne Myers; his grandson Ryan Jay Tuttle; and his siblings, Stan Norenberg, Gary Norenberg, Lou Norenberg, Lois Bennett, Beverly Earll and Pauline Cave.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vickie Lynn Flynn of Keota, Connie Sue Tuttle (Keith) of Grimes and Terri Jo Hawkins (Dennis) of Iowa City; his grandchildren, Heather Sott (Blake), Heidi Bridgewater (Eric), Scott Flynn (Holly), Matt Flynn (Jenny Hobbs), Brett Flynn (Brynn Weimer), Brandi (Michael) and Krista Johnson (Doug); and his siblings, Lowell Norenberg of Branson, Jay Norenberg (Pat) of Pensacola, George Norenberg (Christy) of Iowa City and Veronica "Peachy" Shifflett (Roger) of Sigourney. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for Paralyzed Veterans, Boy's Town or the Keota Alumni Association.
