He was predeceased by: his parents, Curvin Baughman and Margaret Baughman (Seitsinger); his wife Irene Velma Gilliland; and his siblings, Marjorie, Lieta, Margaret "Peg", Robert, Kenneth, Cloyce and Cleo.

He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Don Harriman (Cheryl) of Jamestown, NY, Delaine, Harriman of Bemus Point, NY, David Manthei of Cedar Rapids, Debra Kelly of Phoenix, AZ. and Denise Montano of Phoenix, AZ..
