She is survived by: her siblings, Virgilla Wickwar (Richard) of Fort Washington, Charlene Smith and Niles Smith (Virginia) of Minnetonka; her siblings-in-law, Julia Smith of Iowa City and Thomas Walker of Florence; her children, Kathleen Gretter of Cedar Rapids, Janet Gretter of Ames, Amy McCarville (Brian) of Kansas City, Ann Gretter (Fox Vernon) of Alexandria, Julie Lundstrom (Richard) of Kansas City, Carol Gretter of New York, Frank Gretter of Keota, Michael Gretter, Brazil, David Gretter (Barb) of Harper, Andrew Gretter, Costa Rica and Mark Gretter of Dallas; and her grandchildren, Je'taime, Jill, Blair, Jennifer, Luke, Charles and Owen. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
