It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Lee Davenport of Keosauqua, Iowa, born in Lamont, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 24, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Davenport and Lucile Bridgewater Davenport; his son Mark Davenport; his brother Reginald Davenport; and his brother-in-law Steve Barker.
He is survived by: his wife Melinda Davenport of Keosauqua, IA; his sons, John Davenport of Schaumburg, IL and Richard Davenport of Antioch, IL; and his stepdaughters, Sarah Greer of Jefferson City, MO, Beth Mertens (Dave) of Keosauqua, IA and Shelby Spates of Mt. Pleasant, IA. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren, as well as many extended family and friends.
