She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Hayes. She is survived by: her siblings, Debbie Dewitt (Dale), Terry Hervey (Linda) and Ron Hervey; her aunts, Sherry Hall and Joyce Weaver; her uncle Ben Gilbert; and her stepmother Donna Hervey. She is also survived by stepchildren, as well as many extended family and friends.
Memorial contributions in Rita's honor may be directed to Van Buren County Conservation in honor of her love for camping.
