She was predeceased by: her parents, Homan Newcomer and O. Florence Lancaster Newcomer; her husband Larry Ross; and her brothers, Hillis and Junior Newcomer.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Ross (Lyn) of Keosauqua, IA, Cindy Brown (Phil) of Marion, IA and Betsy Caviness (Rob) of Mt. Sterling, IA; her grandchildren, Brandon Ross, Amanda Foreman (Eric), Kellan Brown (Eryn Johnson), Brody Caviness, Mckenna Caviness and Rylee Caviness; her great grandchildren, Theo Foreman, Desi Foreman and Arie Forman; her sister Alice Ann Holtkamp of Missouri; and her siblings-in-law, Garry Ross and Barbara Anderson. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
