Nola R. Edens Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Nola R. Edens of Keosauqua, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Avard Washburn and Katherine Washburn (Kober); her siblings, George Frederick Washburn, Richard Washburn, William Washburn, Aileen Blaise, Mary Washburn and Dorothy Sturm; and her grandchildren, Dean Edens and Angelena Edens.
She is survived by: her children, David Edens of Walnut, Illinois, Linda Smith of Brighton, Grace Edens of Farmington, Iowa and Shirley Edens of Farmington, Iowa; and her sister Shirley Asher of Navarre, Florida. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wilson and Triplett Funeral Home (975 E Main St, Kahoka, MO 63445). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the Kahoka Cemetery (227-229 E Elm St, Kahoka, MO 63445).
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers George Frederick Washburn, Richard Washburn, and William Washburn; her sisters Aileen Blaise, Mary Washburn, and Dorothy Sturm; and grandson, Dean Edens; granddaughter Angelena Edens; and daughter-in-law, Donna Edens Memorials in Nola's name may be made to: The Walk to End Alzheimer's or to Amee Wyatt for Nola's grave marker.
