He was predeceased by: his parents, John and JoAnn Nelson Jr. (Lundquist); and his sister-in-law Cheryl Nelson. He is survived by: his siblings, Joyce Calhoun of Batavia, James "Jim" Nelson of Fairfield, Janeen Gardner (Pete) of Belmond, Jana Heckethorn of Fairfield and Jeffrey Nelson of Fairfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
