It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Lynn Blaise of Keosauqua, Iowa, born in Hannibal, Missouri, who passed away on June 13, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Blaise and Faye Sutton Blaise; his brother Harold Blaise; and his parents-in-law, Ralph and Betty Gonterman.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Gonterman of Keosauqua, IA; his sons, Dennis Barber Jr. (Vanessa) of Birmingham, IA, Derek Blaise of Cherokee, IA and Damian Blaise of Newton, IA; his grandchildren, Jocelyn, Colt, Kolbi, Callie, Trinity, Damian Jr. and Darrell; his great grandchild Paisley; and his siblings, Gerald, Sonny, David Blaise, Marcella Girardin and Laveta Comstock. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
Memorial contributions in Gary's honor may be directed to the Mt. Moriah Cemetery Association.
