She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore L. "Jerry" Clapper and Ethel A. Runquist Clapper; and her siblings, Theodore Clapper, Jeanette Smith and Charlette "Betty" Hirzy.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Dean Bruggeman; her children, Carl Dean Bruggeman Jr. of Mankato, MN, Jerri Schafer (Roger) of Birmingham and Deborah Henry (Richard); her grandchildren, Matthew Philips, Nathan Philips (Amanda), Robert Henry, Rebecca Loehr, Richard Henry, Samantha Bruggeman and Noah Bruggeman; and her sister-in-law Linda Clapper of Guthrie Center. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends.
