Brenda Diane Neeley Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Diane Neeley of Keosauqua, Iowa, who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Brenda Diane Neeley to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond "Tip" Counts and Martha Counts (Smith); her husband Jack W. Neeley; her brother Kent Counts; her son-in-law Joe Simmons; and her brother-in-law Jim Neeley.

She is survived by: her children, Jeremy Neeley (Pam) of Bonaparte, Josh Neeley (Emily) of Bonaparte, Jill Simmons (Robert Quick) of Keosauqua and Jeannie Cochenour (Brad) of Revere, Missouri; her grandchildren, Kory (Mariah), Isabel, Anna, Clay, Faith, Bryce, Taylor, Kayden, Jayce, Tiffany (Sterling Barnes) and Jacklyn (Jackson Fett); her great grandchildren, Mason, Jameson, Paxton, Jake and Remy; and her sister Lois Mellinger (Gary). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schmitz Funeral Homes - Farmington (501 S 4th St, Farmington, IA 52625). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
