He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley A. Pohorsky and Marie Pohorsky of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.; his wife Marilyn Mortley; and his brother-in-law Jack Mortley. He is survived by: his children, McKenzy, Steven, Emma and Izzy; his great grandchild River; his son Wesley "Brent" Pohorsky (Linda) of Rockwall, TX.; his grandchildren, Mckenzy and Steven; his daughter Nicky Sand (Chris) of Muscatine; his grandchildren, Emma and Izzy; his brother Richard Pohorsky (Judi) of Cedar Rapids; his nieces and nephews, Jeni and Chad; his sister-in-law Margie Mortley of Albuquerque, NM.; his friend Teresa Johnson; and also River. He is also survived by family, his wrestling family and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be directed to the Wes Pohorsky Memorial Fund to be established for Keokuk wrestling team camp scholarships.
