He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Davis and Louise Irene Rupp Davis; and his stepparents, Leroy "Doc" Pierce and Florence Davis. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Duncan; his children, Verlyn B. Davis, Jr of New Orleans, LA, Vickie Sue Brennan of Keokuk, Becky Jo Brennan of Ft. Madison, James B. Davis (Joann) of Hamilton, IL and Judie Louise Hitchcock (Shane) of Keokuk; and his brother Michael "Mickey" Davis (Sharon) of Moses Lake. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and cousins.
