She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert O'Shea and Florence Graham O'Shea; her husband Robert V. Coovert; and her brothers, James Ransdell (Rita) and Alfred Ransdell.
She is survived by: her stepfather Marvin Ransdell; her daughters, Cindy Sanders (Dale) of Keokuk and Peggy Gilliland (Phillip) of Soddy Daisy, TN; her grandchildren, Chad Sanders (Jan), Rob Sanders (Shannon), Wendy Fuhrman (Kyle), Amber Teeters (Randy), Andy Gilliland (Misty) and Emma Wroughton (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Ashlynn Diane Sanders, Christian Matthew Sanders, Olivia Kate Sanders, Gabrielle Grace Sanders, Austin Louis Vastano, Nolah Amber Fuhrman and Noah Andrew Gilliland; and her brother Marvin Henry Ransdell III (Mary) of Keokuk. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
