He is survived by: his mother Norma McGraw Palmer of Stronghurst, IL; his wife Susan McCarl; his daughter Shannon Watts (Travis Meyers); his grandchildren, Abigail of Keokuk, Kylie of Keokuk, Cadence of Keokuk, Hayden of Keokuk, Chase of Keokuk, Leah of Keokuk and Shawndra Spoores (James Balmer); his great grandchildren, Alyssa of Ft. Madison, Haylee of Ft. Madison, Jace of Ft. Madison and Jaxson of Ft. Madison; his sister Lori Lewis (John) of Denmark; and his mother-in-law Gloria McCarl of Fort Madison. He is also survived by two nieces and one nephew, ten great nieces and nephews.
