He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard A. Barnes and Ruth E. Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Janet Hutchens of Keokuk; and his sons, Keith Barnes (Chris) of Keokuk, Kent Barnes of Keokuk, Kevin Todd Barnes of Bloomington and Kurt Barnes (Casey) of Keokuk, Iowa. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
