Shirley Nye Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2024, at the age of 87, Shirley Nye of Keokuk, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Stephenson and Bessie Stephenson (Canada); her husband Arvest "Rocky" Nye; her children, Steve Nye and Audrey Shaffer; and her siblings, Charles, Jimmie and Margie.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Higbee of Keokuk, Tina Warning (Wayne) of Fowler, Tony Nye (Denni) of Parsons, Susan "Sam" Lawson (John) of Belleville, Abby Etter (Lennie) of Keokuk and Doris "Vanessa" Leimer (Donnie). She is also survived by forty-four grandchildren; and a multitude of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
An informal gathering of family and friends will be held at Lake Cooper Foundation Hall 810 Main Street Keokuk immediately following the services.
