He is survived by: his spouse Barb Shinn; his daughter Amy (Jim Mehsling) of Des Moines, IA; his sister Kathy McCartney of Keokuk; his siblings-in-law, Paul Shinn (Alice) of Montrose, IA, Monk Shinn of Keokuk, Connie Davis (Moe) of Keokuk, Judy Schmitt of Keokuk, Tammy Wilson (Steve) of Fort Wayne, IN, Peggy Duke (Earl) of Keokuk and Debbie Pezley (John) of Keokuk; and his uncle Wayne Thornberry (Judy) of Cantril, IA..
