He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar High and Hazel Kite High; his wife Madeline Jett Hart; and his siblings, Rellis High, Harold High, Marjorie Moyes-Korkoske, Deloris McCabe and Mary Gene Harryman.

He is survived by: his children, Keith High (Tammy) of Keokuk, IA, Kim Stansbery (Bryan) of Warsaw, IL and Karla King (Jeff) of South Haven, MS; and his grandchildren, Erika Smith (Josh), Kristina Lovan (Shane), Heather Grossman (Anthony), Robert High (Whitney), Megan Ritter (Steve), Kyle Stansbery (Ashley), Amanda Usery (Brent) and Candace Turnmire (Marc). He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Great River Honor Flight or the St. Jude Children's Hospital. Keep Robert 's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
