He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin S. Lofton and Irene Lofton (Danford). He is survived by: his children, Douglas (Barbara) of Indianapolis and Deanna (Mark) of Cedar Rapids; and his grandchildren, David Lofton (Lauren), Leah McNeil (Aaron), Benjamin Long and Anna Long. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
