He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cady and Velma Cady (Rose); his wives, Betty Brackenbury and Mildred; his daughter Barbara Wylie; his siblings, Verona Cady, Gene, Roger (Omer Cady) and Clyde "Jack" Malmgren (Nelson "Bud" Malmgren); and his grandson David Leroy Cady.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Cady of Davenport, Iowa, Debra Lane (Donald) of Davenport, Iowa and Dennis Cady (Gloria) of Davenport, Iowa; and his stepsons, Harry Brackenbury (Kathie) of Keokuk and Terry Brackenbury (Deborah) of Hamilton. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
